My scouts report being unable to handle it for long before they begin to feel ill and weak, all of them have retreated back to clear areas after no more than a few hours. It goes only a small way toward explaining why we can't reach some of our holdings, but it's something we know now that we didn't know before.
That said, the situation is something alike to what it was when we all first arrived here. Nothing is what it should be, no one is where we expect them to be, and our old conflicts mean nothing here. Land isn't important, strength is. If we cannot locate our own officers... [his gaze clearly drifts to Lavellan] ...others will have to do.
